MediaMation, Inc. (MMI) Showcases Jurassic World VR Expedition Virtual Reality Game at the 2019 CinemaCon Trade Show

MMI takes a bite out of interactive entertainment solutions with their themed POD

Torrance, California ( April 2, 2019 ) -

MMI’s innovative cinema technology will take the center stage at this year’s CinemaCon conference in Las Vegas with a new cutting edge product. On display will be the MX4D POD featuring Jurassic World VR Expedition, an interactive cinematic virtual reality (VR) game that transports players to the visually stunning jungles of Isla Nublar.

MMI teamed up with the Virtual Reality Company (VRC) and Universal Games and Digital Platforms to integrate the Jurassic World VR Expedition game into the POD. Jurassic World VR Expedition lets fans engage in an epic rescue adventure inspired by the iconic Jurassic World film franchise. Equipped with Head Mounted Displays (HMD), this multiplayer experience gives fans a thrilling chance to roam alongside dinosaurs. Players can earn high scores by rescuing dinosaurs that were freely roaming Isla Nublar at the end of the 2015 Jurassic World film storyline, encouraging re-playability and engagement.

“Having Jurassic World VR Expedition featured in MMI’s booth will be a fantastic showcase for this innovative offering, ” says Jason Turner, Chief Business Officer of VRC. “With the large external screen for promotion, and branding around the rest of the POD, it will really stand out as the next step in IP experiences.”

The unique product is great for cinema lobby entertainment and exposing the overall MX4D immersive motion experience to theater attendees.
