MediaMation IAAPA 2022 Update

MediaMation was scheduled to exhibit this year at IAAPA North America, but has decided to pull out due to their busy production schedule

MediaMation will not exhibit at IAAPA this year to focus on current and upcoming projects.

Torrance, CA ( November 10, 2022 ) -

MediaMation (MMI) was scheduled to exhibit this year at IAAPA North America, but has decided to pull out due to their busy production schedule of installs worldwide for the attractions and cinema industry.

“We were looking forward to being a part of IAAPA this year, but many of our projects were set to open or start during the months of October and November, and we just needed to divert our resources to our clients to ensure smooth installations. It is with a sad heart that we will have to pull out this year,” says Dan Jamele, President of MediaMation, Inc. “Since the pandemic, everyone is reopening their theaters and attractions to recoup some of the loss from that time, which is keeping us on our toes,” he added.

In light of not exhibiting, MMI is reaching out to their colleagues, clients and new clients to visit their website to see what new and upgraded products and projects they have. Their MX4D Motion Floor brings immersive motion technology to “free-standing” VR, special effects attractions, recliners, and any other attraction requiring motion and haptic immersion. With their motion floor, you will be able to capture the experience of being in the midst of things live. The Loveland Aquarium in Utah is utilizing, not only their MX4D Motion EFX benches in a fully VR environment, but their motion floor too that allows persons with disabilities to also enjoy the immersive 4D movements and VR experience. If you head over to booth #1860, The Juice will be showing a Motion Floor Immersive video at their booth as they are representatives of their products.

This year marked the opening of Kennedy Space Center Gateway attraction. MMI provided the centerpiece attraction ride with four of our MX4D Flying Theaters to showcase four different aspects of space and technology. This project was intricate in that it showcased the flexibility and scalability of our articulating MX4D Motion seats in immersive dome theaters with challenging space and mechanical requirements.

Their upcoming projects include an installation in Saudi Arabia called “Hero Ventures” as well as a new MX4D Cinema in Dubai for REEL Cinema. Their tech team has been busy integrating, installing and maintaining their more than 350 cinema theaters worldwide, not including their Themed Attractions and show control projects such as upcoming “Legends” in Arizona and more. On the cinema side of things, they are currently working with Inox (top left) to provide 5 more theaters for their cinemas in India as well as working with B&B Theaters (Bottom Left) who are opening more movie theaters this year.

Look for more from MMI soon and they will be sure to see everyone at next year’s IAAPA.
