Mediamation, Inc. welcomes Vaughn Howes onboard as our dedicated Director of Sales!

We are excited to welcome Vaughn to the MMI family. Vaughn has a wealth of knowledge and experience from his more than 30 years in the attractions and themed entertainment industries. His career path began in the 1980’s when Vaughn met with special effects pioneer, Douglas Trumbull of Showscan Corporation. He has engineered and managed successful projects worldwide in almost every area of the industry. “I remember being quite intimidated, working with known experts in movie special effects, developing large-screen 70mm film-based attractions for high-profile tourist destinations”. At Showscan, Vaughn was involved in marrying digital-audio technologies, and digital-projection technologies which are now commonplace in theme parks, and cinemas worldwide.

He has been working with MMI in various roles, and as our main Project Manager on all of our cinemas for many years. His passion for quality and excellence in our industry has helped put smiles on millions of faces over the years. In his new role, Vaughn will lead our sales department and ensure our customers, old and new, will get the highest quality, and exciting Mediamation products available for their new ventures.

Vaughn comments; “In my career I have been very fortunate to be involved in groundbreaking experiences at famous theme parks, like Disneyland and Universal Studios, during the era of adapting industrial motion simulator systems to the entertainment world. I feel lucky to have managed projects in almost every corner of the globe.”
