Who is she?

Celluloid Junkie will this year once again honour some of the best, brightest and hardest working executives in the global cinema business who happen to be female. Last year’s Top 25 was incredibly well received and this year we will be expanding the list of women we salute. This year we are also excited to be partnering Boxoffice Magazine, the cinema industry’s leading print publication and the official magazine of NATO.

But to identify the deserving recipients of recognition, we need YOUR  help, which is why nominations are now open for suggestions of who should be included.

If you know of a woman in the cinema business who has made a major contribution in the past year we want to hear from you. Email us (tips@celluloidjunkie.com) with her name, title, affiliation/company and a sentence or two on her achievements in the past year. You can even put forward yourself, as long as you work in the cinema business – i.e. not in the distribution or production of film – whether as a cinema operator, vendor or service supplier.

The full list will be published here on 8 March, which as you know is the International Women’s Day, as well in the CinemaCon issue of Boxoffice magazine. A lot has changed in the past year and we expect to see a very different list this year. So please spread the word, share this request on social media and send us your names.
