Showtime Analytics, leading provider of data powered solutions to the cinema industry has named Mark de Quervain as Director Client Services and Strategy. He will be based out of London, UK reporting to Showtime co-founders Jolyon Spurling, Chief Product Officer and Richard Power, Chief Executive Officer.
De Quervain’s impressive career spans 30 years international experience in the entertainment, leisure, QSR, licencing and consulting industries with key roles including VP Strategy for Creata agency working on McDonald’s Happy Meals globally, Sales and Marketing Director Rock Up, International Marketing Director Fast & Furious Live and part of the senior team that founded Vue Entertainment in the role of Sales and Marketing Director.
He worked in world-wide film distribution as VP International Promotions and Licensing with United International Pictures (UIP), a company owned by Universal, MGM/UA and Paramount working on many renowned releases ranging from James Bond to “Jurassic Park.”
Creator of brands including Vue, where he also pioneered many innovations in cinema including the launch of event cinema with live music, sport and comedy starting with the international broadcast of the rock group Genesis in 2005.
De Quervain has also worked for several years as a business consultant across the cinema industry internationally with his company Action Marketing Works. He has now returned to cinema after 6 years working in the leisure and QSR sectors in senior roles.
