A Laser 4K, Dolby Atmos, cinema experience like no other will open later this summer in Salthill, Galway
A new luxury 10 screen cinema is coming to Galway as Omniplex, Ireland’s largest multiplex chain, has begun development in Baily Point in Salthill to create a new luxury cinema experience. The €5million euro 30,000 sq ft development will start with a phased opening this summer creating over 20 jobs in the area, giving locals access to a unique and luxury cinema experience.
Omniplex Cinema’s 29th Cinema on the Island of Ireland will play homage to the Hollywood era with a luxury 1920’s design and feel but with modern comforts, such as; premium Barco laser projection & fully electric reclining seats as standard in all screens, and featuring 4K & Dolby Atmos Auditoriums for the most immersive sound & viewing experience.
Not only that, once fully completed late in 2019, the 10 screen cinema will accommodate 850 patrons who can enjoy an upgraded cinema experience including click & collect stations, Coca Cola Freestyle, and a fully stocked bar.
