All of us at Celluloid Junkie would like to thank our readers, fans and friends for all the support this past year and take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas. It has been an interesting year for cinema, with box office holding up, even with a slow-down in China and an in-between year in terms of Hollywood blockbusters, saved by a USD $7 billion slate from Disney.
We have grown CJ this past year with the launches of the CJ Cinema Property News, the CJ Interviews series, CJ Opinion and, above all, Cinema of the Month in partnership with Vista and Retail Insights together with Coke. These partnerships enable us to cover subjects, people and trends important to the cinema business and we will be doing even more of this in the coming year.
We hope that you have a relaxed holiday and be sure to visit your local cinema.
