Distributed by PATHE LIVE and broadcast live from the Théâtre de l’Européen (Paris) to 218 cinemas in France, Belgium and Switzerland yesterday Thursday 21 March at 7.30pm, the one-woman show BONNE NUIT BLANCHE by Blanche Gardin sets new admission and box-office records for a LIVE event in French cinemas.
88,000 fans came together to celebrate the stand-up comedian in French cinemas (92,000 including Belgium and Switzerland) for a €1.48 million global box-office, ranking #1 at the daily box-office grossing more than the following 10 films combined.
The previous record for a LIVE event in French cinemas was held by French superstar comedian Florence Foresti with her show FORESTI PARTY BERCY also distributed by Pathé Live on Sunday 23 September 2012, with a total of 81,806 admissions in French cinemas (87,163 admissions and €1.2 million box-office including Belgium and Switzerland).
Blanche Gardin’s show was broadcast to multiple cinema chains across all territories (Pathé-Gaumont, Kinepolis, Mégarama, Cinéville, CinéAlpes) and many independent cinemas.
