Cinema in Pejaten Village Mall Embodies Cinépolis Brand Ethos
Jakarta, Indonesia (December 5, 2019) – PT Cinemaxx Global Pasifik, one of Indonesia’s largest and fastest-growing cinema groups, announced today a major rebranding to reflect the company’s evolution and commitment to bring cutting-edge, world class cinema-going experiences to Indonesian moviegoers. With immediate effect, the company will operate under a new brand and identity: Cinépolis.

The company’s latest cinema, which launched today at Pejaten Village Mall, is the first cinema to fully embody the Cinepolis brand. The cinema is the first cinema in Indonesia to feature full RGB Laser projection systems in all auditoriums, delivering ultra-bright picture quality and unrivaled picture realism. The cinema also boasts two “double decker” cinema auditoriums, cleverly designed to integrate regular seating with Cinépolis VIP private seating in the same auditorium. Cinépolis VIP is the epitome of luxury, offering moviegoers a stylish pre-show lounge, a mouth-watering menu to drink and dine from, and luxurious recliner seats embellished with plush pillows and comforters. The lobby of the cinema has also been completely redesigned to feature dramatic and dynamic designs, a colorful and vibrant candy bar, and digital eTicketing kiosks that enable guests to cut waiting times.
