Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and support services, has agreed a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Timewaying Co. Ltd, a leading technology manufacturer specialising in 3D and LED solutions, to become an official reseller of HeyLED.
Having established a progressive product portfolio, including Freedeo and NAMOS, Timewaying continues to develop innovative cinematic technologies to help drive the global in-theatre consumer experience, with HeyLED, a brand of new, DCI certified LED screen technology, their latest visual solution.
Now, as an official reseller of the emerging HeyLED brand, AAM will become exhibitor’s direct point of contact for the majority of Asia, Europe, and all of the Americas.
“This is a significant deal not just for Timewaying but for LED in the cinema space”, said Andrew Chan, Chief Executive Officer and Co Founder of Timewaying. “Timewaying believes delivering a good cinematic experience is still the key to good story telling and enhancing healthy social interaction. About Shenzhen Timewaying Co. Ltd
Founded in 2011, Timewaying is a market-oriented theater technology company. It is a Chinese leader in migrating 3D technology from active 3D glasses to a passive glasses system. It has over 36,000 3D systems installed at 11,000 cinema sites across China under the brand of Freedeo. This combined with other innovative technology allowed Timewaying to fuel the 98% coverage of 3D screen installation during the fastest growing period of the Chinese cinema industry.
Since 2018, the company has stepped from the 3D system stage to the technological innovation stage. With rich industry experience, excellent optics and LED R&D teams, Timewaying launched the first Chinese high-contrast screen in China in 2020 which filled the market gap for a screen with high gain, wide viewing angle, and high uniformity, aiming to reduce exhibitor costs and create a cinematic experience.
In 2021, with over 3 years of R&D time and significant investment, Timewaying was pleased to announce their first product, LA2K-10, obtained the DCI Certification; a major milestone in their development and a promotion of LED technology in China.
