2017 Mid-Year Studio Market Share Projections

Now that we’re halfway through 2017 it seems as good a time as any to project out how the Hollywood box office market share race will wind up by the end of the year. Can Disney hang onto its lead and make it back-to-back wins? Can one of the new micro studios crack the top 10? And can Lionsgate displace one of the six majors for the first time since 2013?
