DCS Events in association with The Big Picture will be hosting an Emerging Cinema Markets Conference on Tuesday 20th November – Thursday 22nd November at the five-star luxury Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul.
The Emerging Cinema Markets in Turkey, Central Asia, the Middle East, Balkans and North Africa are at an early stage in their growth and development, but in combination they offer a significant opportunity for investors, studios, distributors, exhibitors and the specialist supply chains to the industry.
650 million people live in the target markets but there are only 170 million cinema ticket sales officially recorded. GDP in the area is $5,200bn with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Egypt and Israel being amongst the biggest markets.
The three-day conference will focus on the Turkish, Middle East, Central Asia, Balkans and North Africa markets and includes key speakers and presenters who will outline the current issues facing emerging market. These include:
