Cinema Technology Community (CTC), the not-for-profit independent trade organisation has announced the launch of its new job board service to help support the cinema industry as it emerges from the pandemic.
The new free-to-use job board aims to provide a conduit to connect organisations from across the globe working in the cinema industry with professionals seeking employment.
“Over the past 12 months our industry has faced incredible hardship and we have all seen first-hand the impact that this has had, and is still having, on the strength of organisations in our industry as well as the incredibly talented people who work in the sector. As we emerge from the pandemic, it is inevitable that organisations will look to create new roles and upskill their teams. Our new job board aims to provide a vital platform to connect organisations with skilled professionals from around the world, many of whom have been displaced by Covid- 19,” explains Richard Mitchell, President of CTC.
CTCs Job Board is completely free to use for both employers and job seekers with an easy- to-use system designed to make the process of uploading vacancies and applying for jobs straight-forward. Organisations seeking to upload jobs can sign-up following a simple three-step process and there is no limit on the number of jobs an organisation can upload to the job board.
“Whilst the job board is currently still in development and we continue adding advanced functionality, we wanted to ensure the platform was made available now to help provide cost-effective support to the industry as we emerge from the pandemic and to help our members around the world in finding employment. Although CTCs core focus is technology, the job board will not be limited to technology roles – we want this to be a platform to help as many people in the wider industry get back to work for the greater good of the entire cinema community” Mitchell adds.
