Company Generates $3 Million Across 10 Locations As 70 Percent Set All-Time Weekend Records
Cinergy Entertainment Group announced today that it set new company records for both the highest-grossing four-day period and three-day weekend in its history, generating approximately $3 million across 10 locations from July 30–August 2, 2026, with nearly $2.5 million coming from Friday through Sunday.
Driven by the blockbuster opening of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” the three-day result surpassed Cinergy’s previous weekend record, established during the June opening of Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 5,” by 19 percent.
“This historic weekend was a powerful demonstration of what it means to deliver a truly MAGICAL experience,” said Darek Heath, Chief Operating Officer of Cinergy Entertainment. “Our management and staff teams welcomed a record-setting number of guests, served more than $1.4 million in food and beverages and executed flawlessly across every part of the operation. The preparation, coordination and support from our home office allowed our locations to operate smoothly throughout the weekend, and I could not be more grateful to every team member who made these results possible.”
Seventy percent of Cinergy’s locations recorded the busiest weekends in their respective histories, while 40 percent set new all-time single-day revenue records. Cinergy’s larger cinema and entertainment centers generated an average of $390,000 per location during the three-day weekend, with an average screen count of 10. This weekend marks the 8th time that a Cinergy location has generated more than $500,000 in a single weekend.
The record extended beyond the box office. Cinergy also reached an all-time high for Elite Plus subscription membership sign-ups during the weekend, exceeding last summer’s highest sign-up total by more than 20 percent.
The record-setting results highlight the continued strength of the theatrical exhibition industry and the growing demand for shared entertainment experiences. Cinergy’s diversified entertainment model – which combines premium moviegoing with bowling, arcade games, attractions, dining and other experiences – helped drive strong performance across multiple revenue categories.
