Christie Makes It Extraordinary With Integrated Technology Tools At ISE 2020

ISE debut of both the Christie Roadie 4K40-RGB
Amsterdam, Netherlands ( February 3, 2020 ) -

Christie, the leader in solving the trickiest AV challenges and creating the world’s best shared experiences, is delivering a wealth of expertise and technology at ISE 2020 in RAI Amsterdam, February 11-14.

At stand 1-H70, the Christie experience will include a better-than-ever MicroTiles LED with 3D capabilities, a full line-up of tiled and discrete LCD panels, the Crimson 31 laser projector, and the ISE debut of both the Christie Roadie 4K40-RGB and the Christie Mirage SST projector. At the heart of the booth, using four Christie D20WU-HS Series projectors, is a 360-degree 3D projection mapping display with augmented reality featuring content provided by loop light GmbH. Managing booth visuals will be the Christie Spyder X80, the Christie Mystique for automated 3D camera-based alignment, Christie Pandoras Box in 64-bit, and Terra SDVoE AV-over-IP solutions.

After its celebrated debut at ISE 2019, the award-winning MicroTiles LED continues to set the standard with its advanced LED technology, design flexibility, and advanced mechanical design. Now, with its new and uncompromised 3D option, users can experience a new level of visual possibilities.

Christie end-to-end technology – for an impressive display every time
As announced in January, Christie is also welcoming two new 3DLP Crimson laser projector models with increased brightness (priced the same as its Crimson 25 predecessor) to the fold. Both Crimson Series WU31 and HD31 models deliver 31,500 ISO lumens, Christie BoldColor Technology, Christie TruLife Electronics and the built-in warping and blending capabilities of Christie Twist.

With a Crimson 31 as the source projector, visitors can also experience Guardian – an optional Mystique feature – as it demonstrates how, without interrupting the viewing experience, it realigns images that may have shifted due to projectors being bumped or moved.

With its omni-directional, quiet and ultra-compact, fibre-coupled projection head, the Mirage SST 4K 35,000 lumen RGB laser projection system has been designed for tight, challenging environments, such as domes or themed attractions, offering incredible system design flexibility.

Also making its ISE debut is the Christie Roadie 4K40-RGB pure laser projector. Purpose-built for life on the road and other demanding applications, the Roadie’s famous “love handles” double as rigging points – for quick, efficient installation. Also making ISE debuts is the Christie FHD554-XZ-H near-seamless sub-1mm bezel tiled LCD panel and the Christie UHD654-X-HR 65-inch 4K UHD ultra-narrow tiled LCD panel.

A Christie DWU1075-GS, Christie Pandoras Box, and Widget Designer will display and control a racetrack demonstration complete with live competitions.

Processing power for the small-scale and most ambitious projects
Controlling the booth visuals are Christie Terra and Christie Spyder X80. The Spyder X80 video processor provides the lowest latency possible – creating more value for staging production companies that want to produce the most impactful shows. It also has optional 120Hz active and passive stereoscopic capabilities so 2D and 3D windows can be viewed simultaneously; ideal for medical and science research facilities and the automotive, gas and oil industries. Christie Terra provides unprecedented performance capabilities including the delivery of uncompressed, zero-frame latency, artefact-free video over readily available and affordable 10G components.

For media and show control, the new Christie Pandoras Box V6.4 with 64-bit software delivers even more power and performance. Check out a demo of Pandoras Box driving 10 bit content to many of the displays in P3 and Rec.2020 colour space.

“Working with Christie ensures the right solution as we collaborate with our customers and partners to bring their extraordinary experiences to life,” says Arlonna Seymour, senior director of corporate marketing, Christie. “It means industry-leading technology, ongoing education, the best service and warranties in the business, and putting partners and customers first. Christie is a full system support partner, and customers know that choosing Christie is an investment in the future.”
