Book The Cinema is an online service that gives consumers the opportunity to book private cinema events, choosing from a huge selection of movies including the latest blockbusters and many of the greatest classics.
Perfect for a variety of events from birthday parties to corporate bookings, Book The Cinema also allows consumers to create a personalised message that will appear on the big screen before their movie starts. This message can include images and videos as well as a written message created by the consumer. Customers can also pre-order food and beverages for their private event on the platform.
Book The Cinema is designed and delivered by Unique X, a global cinema software and content solutions provider and utilises Unique X’s suite of cinema automation and content delivery solutions. Book The Cinema is a fully managed service and gives cinemas the opportunity to attract a range of audiences, leading to an increase in revenues for exhibitors. REEL Cinemas began in 2001 when property businessman Kailash Chander (K.C.) Suri took over the Loughborough Curzon, a run-down 6-screen venue, earmarked for a development project that would turn it into flats. But as he got to know the business, the staff and its customers, K.C. Suri started to fall in love with cinema.
REEL Cinemas is now the UK’s leading independent cinema chain with fifteen sites across England and Wales, ranging from classic 1930s art deco buildings to purpose built miniplexes.
