Early screening event showcases the first two episodes of the Prime Video series alongside a moody, 1930s-inspired menu
Alamo Drafthouse invites audiences to step into the shadows for a special one-night event: an exclusive sneak peek of the first two episodes of “Spider-Noir,” the upcoming Prime Video series starring Nicolas Cage. Before the full season arrives May 25 on MGM+’s linear broadcast channel and May 27 on Prime Video, fans can experience the world of hardboiled heroes and moral gray areas on the big screen at Alamo Drafthouse locations in NYC, Los Angeles, Austin, San Francisco, Chicago, and Raleigh on May 25.
Nicolas Cage leads the series as Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero. The cast also features Brendan Gleeson, Jack Huston, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, and Karen Rodriguez. Morris and Huston, who play Robbie Robertson and Flint Marko/Sandman, respectively, in the series, will appear at Alamo Drafthouse’s downtown Los Angeles location for a post-screening Q&A.
Every screening event will be paired with a themed menu inspired by classic diner fare and the high-contrast look of black-and-white cinema. Guests can dig into Popcorn Noir, a darkly seasoned twist on a theater staple, or The City Dog, an all-beef frank built for late nights and bad decisions. From the bar, the Black Manhattan and Dark & Stormy offer cocktails as brooding and layered as the characters on screen. Finish off your meal with the Blackout Malt: vanilla ice cream blended with Oreos and Whoppers, and topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.
The exclusive Victory event caps off Alamo Drafthouse’s Web of Shadows series, running weekly through May 18 and showcasing four defining works that inspired the world of “Spider-Noir”: “In A Lonely Place,” “Sweet Smell Of Success,” “The Third Man,” and “Kiss Me Deadly.”
Admission to the Victory event is free with the purchase of a fully refundable food and beverage voucher, redeemable at the event. Fans can reserve their spot at drafthouse.com.
