OCINE inaugurated its fifth 4D E-Motion auditorium on September 9 in Girona. This marks the chain’s second location with the technology in the province, joining the 4D theatre cinema opened in Blanes last December.
Lumma and OCINE are continuing to expand their immersive cinema footprint across Spain, driven by outstanding audience reception and growing demand for this premium experience. Since introducing Lumma’s signature 4D E-Motion technology to its circuit, OCINE has successfully scaled the format into a multi-site offering that consistently enhances moviegoer engagement.
The partnership first kicked off in June 2024 with the launch of an initial 120-seat 4D E-Motion auditorium at OCINE Les Gavarres in Tarragona. Strong attendance and positive feedback quickly solidified the format’s commercial appeal, leading OCINE to integrate 4D E-Motion into key expansion plans. In January 2025, OCINE brought the experience to Vigo at Gran Vía, a top-tier, architectural premium complex followed by a second 4D auditorium at Les Gavarres in June 2025 to keep up with high local demand.

The new auditorium debuted with Paramount Pictures’ Tad the Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet (Tadeo Jones), screened in Catalan. It is followed by an exciting lineup of high-impact releases, including Practical Magic 2 (Warner Bros., Sept. 11), “Resident Evil” (Sony, Sept. 18), and the re-release of “Avengers: Endgame” (Disney, Sept. 24). The upcoming slate continues with “Street Fighter” (Paramount Pictures, Oct. 16) and “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” (Lionsgate, Nov. 20) among other major titles, culminating in December with blockbusters “Dune: Part Three” (Warner Bros., Dec. 17) and “Avengers: Doomsday” (Disney, Dec. 18).
