San Sebastián International Film Festival (SSIFF) has once again extended its collaboration with Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and services, enabling Producer and Screenwriter to manage scheduling and content delivery for the eleventh consecutive year.
Now celebrating its 73rd edition, SSIFF will present a diverse selection of films to an international audience of spectators, journalists, and industry leaders, while continuing to promote projects in development and create new opportunities for filmmakers, producers, and distributors.
Festival operations will be orchestrated from SSIFF headquarters using the combined strength of Screenwriter, AAM’s local Theatre Management System (TMS), and Producer, an enterprise TMS, to automate routine tasks, streamlines QC procedures, and offer precise oversight of all screens and content. Kelonik, a trusted AAM partner and long-standing collaborator with SSIFF, will once again provide on-site expertise and technical support throughout the festival.
“For over a decade, Arts Alliance Media’s Screenwriter has been a cornerstone of SSIFF’s content management, delivering reliability year after year,” explained Lucas Iaccarino, Technical Manager at SSIFF. “Following the successful integration of Producer in 2024, we will further expand our use of their enterprise technology to gain complete network visibility and drive even greater operational efficiency.”
AAM’s Screenwriter remains the most widely used TMS in the industry, enabling users to create playlists, schedule shows, monitor screens, and control playback seamlessly. When paired with Producer, which provides a real-time view across all connected sites and screens, SSIFF teams can manage operations remotely and ensure smooth, reliable screenings.
David Ong, Chief Commercial Officer at Arts Alliance Media, added, “We’re delighted to extend our agreement with San Sebastián International Film Festival beyond a decade. By working closely with SSIFF and Kelonik, we’ve been able to grow an already established eco-system that guarantees operational excellence and delivers outstanding cinematic experiences.”
