Ketchup Entertainment has appointed Qube Wire as its primary digital distribution partner across its expanding theatrical slate, led by “Coyote vs. Acme,” the company’s largest release to date, set for a nationwide wide rollout this summer. The slate will be immediately followed by “Rolling Loud,” starring Owen Wilson, Matt Rife, and Travis Scott, further cementing Ketchup’s push into high-impact, eventdriven theatrical releases.
The partnership underscores Ketchup’s rapid evolution into a scaled, theatrical-first distributor, combining studio-level ambition with independent agility. With multiple wide releases planned, the company is investing heavily in best-in-class infrastructure to ensure precision, speed, and control across every aspect of distribution.
Qube Wire, a global leader in digital cinema delivery, processed more than 2,000 titles in 2025, delivering over 600,000 DCPs to cinemas worldwide and managing more than 4.7 million encryption keys.
“We’re not building Ketchup to participate, we’re building it to compete,” said Gareth West, CEO of Ketchup Entertainment. “’Coyote vs. Acme’ is a true wide release, 3,000+ screens, and that demands flawless execution. Qube gives us the speed, reliability, and cost efficiency to operate at scale while still moving decisively as an independent. That combination is where we believe the future of distribution sits.”
Qube Wire has rapidly expanded its domestic footprint, with over 1,200 U.S. cinemas currently connected to its network and significant further rollout underway. Its integration with exhibition, strengthened through the acquisition of Arts Alliance Media, provides distributors with enhanced visibility and control across the delivery chain.
“Our focus is simple, deliver best-in-class technology that drives real efficiency across the ecosystem,” said Alan Christensen, Head of Business Development and Strategy at Qube Wire. “Ketchup is scaling quickly, and we’re proud to support a partner that’s stepping into wide theatrical in a meaningful way.”
Ketchup Entertainment continues to expand its portfolio through strategic partnerships, including collaborations with Live Nation and Warner Bros., as it positions itself as a modern, agile studio capable of launching wide releases and event films in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Qube Wire will play a central role in enabling that growth across the company’s upcoming slate.
