Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and services, has partnered with the Cinema per Roma Foundation, a body that promotes Italian and international cinema, enabling the industry-leading Screenwriter Theatre Management System (TMS) to support the 19th edition of the Rome Film Fest (RoFF).
Hosted at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, featuring one of the world’s largest red carpets and main screening rooms, the Film Festival will take place at various cultural locations across the city, with a program that features an international competition, public meetings, special screenings, events, and tributes.
Ingesting content via Screenwriter to Festival HQ’s screen servers, users will check the validity of all DCPs before moving that content to the server of each Festival location, ensuring a rigorous quality control procedure to safeguard scheduled performances.
“Integrating top-tier technological services is key to streamlining our processes and enhancing the overall moviegoing experience,” explained Andrea Bissi, Head of ITC Department at Fondazione Cinema per Roma. “Recognising Screenwriter’s expertise in navigating the dynamic Film Festival environment, we trust Arts Alliance Media to support our ongoing technical growth and expanding festival operations.”
Responsible for scheduling features, trailers and advertisements, monitoring screens, and controlling playback for over 45,000 screens worldwide, AAM’s Screenwriter remains the most powerful, widely deployed TMS in the world.
Tonje Leirvik, Software Sales Manager at AAM, added, “We are honoured that the Rome Film Festival has chosen Screenwriter to support their prestigious and iconic event. With a proven track record of handling high-profile festivals, we will work to ensure their first experience with Screenwriter is a resounding success.
We look forward to continuing our support for their operations in the future.”
