Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and support services, and the prestigious San Sebastian International Film Festival (SSIFF) have renewed their software partnership for the seventh consecutive event, enabling AAM’s Producer and Screenwriter theatre solutions to efficiently manage all the festival’s content and scheduling.
While promoting projects in development and business opportunities for creators, producers, and distributors, the SSIFF will be showing select titles to an international audience of spectators, specialised media, and industry professionals in what will be the festival’s 69th event.
To guarantee comprehensive visibility and flexible, far-reaching site control, Screenwriter will be connected to Producer, AAM’s newest enterprise Circuit Management System (CMS), for total operation from the festival HQ.
“For the Festival, the collaboration with Arts Alliance Media is essential”, said Lucas Iaccarino, SSIFF Technical Manager. “It means counting on a renowned technical collaborator, that will meet many of the technical needs derived from such a complex and demanding programme as ours.”
Managing a global network of over 45,000 screens, Screenwriter remains the most powerful, widely deployed TMS in the world, and is responsible for scheduling features, trailers, and advertisements, monitoring screens and controlling playback. When integrated with Producer, an overarching CMS which displays a real-time view of each screen Screenwriter is installed in, SSIFF staff can easily automate each operational task remotely for maximum control.
With a global attendance invited to enjoy nearly 200 titles across an eight-day period, it is essential for festival operations to run smoothly, efficiently, and without human error. By opting for the synergistic power of Screenwriter and Producer, which are expertly designed to handle a large quantity of titles and visibility over countless screens, SSIFF organisers can expect another successful year with software they can rely on.
Roberto Marabotto, VP of Sales for EMEA at Arts Alliance Media, added, “we’re delighted to renew our partnership with San Sebastian as they prepare for an impressive 69th festival. It’s vital that the organisers can rely on seamless, versatile software with a proven record of supporting high profile events to help guarantee a flawless experience for festival goers.”
