Angel Studios is being recognized as the 2025 recipient of the “Breakout Distributor of the Year” award at CineEurope. The award is the first of its kind inspired by Angel Studios’ exponential impact on the theatrical industry by their unwavering authenticity, producing content that resonates with its audience. Film Expo Group is honored to present this award prior to Angel’s Presentation and Screening of Sketch on Thursday, 19 June, during FEG’s flagship CineEurope convention taking place at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain, this coming June. Accepting on behalf of Angel will be Brandon Purdie, Executive Vice President, Global Head of Theatrical Distribution & Brand Development and Jared Geesey, Chief Distribution Officer at Angel Studios.
