Expanding hands-on cinema technology training and support services
Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, announces the opening of its new Cinionic Service Center in north Dallas. The facility will house the Cinionic Academy, the company’s popular technology training program, and serve as a regional service center.
Cinionic Academy hosts regular hands-on training courses on the company’s leading projection portfolio, ensuring theater operators and installation professionals get the most out of their cinema solutions. Cinionic’s certification programs further the industry through skill and knowledge building, developing experienced field teams and support reps for the company’s customers and network of installers.
Situated in Texas, one of the most populated cinema regions in the U.S., the Cinionic Service Center is within driving distance for a large number of cinema professionals. With this announcement, Cinionic builds on its dedication to supporting exhibition by expanding its service solution capabilities and makes ongoing education opportunities more accessible than ever before.
“The new Cinionic Service Center is part of our ongoing commitment to our customers, ensuring they have the support, resources, and tools they need to meet the future with confidence,” says Tim Rust, Vice President of Sales & Service Operations, Cinionic. “Delivering exceptional cinema experiences is the core of our business. Cinionic’s suite of service solutions, including the Cinionic Academy, around the clock equipment monitoring, factory level support, and extended warranties deliver peace-of-mind to theaters.”
The Texas facility also offers engine cleaning and repair for Cinionic’s Barco cinema projectors. The services help theaters increase longevity of legacy equipment and dramatically improve light levels. Cinionic’s service portfolio is designed to support exhibition in delighting audiences through high-quality cinema presentation and sustainable business solutions.
Cinionic Academy certification programs require 3-4 days of extensive training, so global availability and accessibility is important. The Dallas site is the third training center site for Cinionic, other locations include: Kortrijk, Belgium and Mexico City, Mexico. The company also offers e-learning options for those unable to travel.
