The new free cultural festival for the start of the school year will take place from September 24 to 27, 2026.
For the first time, Cinéma Paradiso is coming to the heart of the Eiffel Tower. From September 24 to 27, 2026, the free festival created by mk2 will take over the Salle Gustave Eiffel on the first floor of the monument for four days of cinema in an exceptional setting.
Conceived jointly by mk2 and the Eiffel Tower, this inaugural edition promises to be one of the major cultural events of the autumn season. It marks a new chapter in the festival’s history, combining the world of cinema with one of the most iconic landmarks in the world.
Following the success of the 6th edition of Cinéma Paradiso Louvre, which took place from July 1st to 4th in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre Museum, mk2 is already unveiling the next chapter of its festival.
Since its creation in 2013, Cinéma Paradiso has celebrated the power of cinema to bring people together and inspire wonder by transforming iconic locations into ephemeral cultural destinations for a few days. From the Grand Palais to the Louvre Museum, from La Seine Musicale to the Villa Carmignac and even the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, each edition reinvents the way we experience cinema by creating a dialogue between screenings, heritage, celebration, and collective experience.
With this new edition, mk2 and the Eiffel Tower have joined forces to create a unique cinematic experience on the Iron Lady, a universal icon and essential film set.
“For over ten years, Cinéma Paradiso has been taking cinema out of its traditional walls and into places that resonate with the collective imagination. After the Louvre, taking over the Eiffel Tower is a highly symbolic step: it brings this universal monument closer to Parisians, allows it to be experienced in a new way, and reaffirms mk2’s commitment to a popular, demanding, and accessible culture. This edition marks the beginning of a new chapter for Cinéma Paradiso: we want to continue creating unexpected events in exceptional locations, making cinema an ever-more powerful collective celebration.” Elisha Karmitz, CEO of the mk2 group.
“The Eiffel Tower is delighted to welcome Cinéma Paradiso for the first time. The monument has always maintained a close relationship with the art of film, inspiring generations of filmmakers. The Tower has appeared in countless films over the decades. Today, this connection is expressed in a new way: offering visitors a unique cinematic experience at the very heart of the monument, in the exceptional setting of the Salle Gustave Eiffel,” said Patrick Branco Ruivo, CEO of the Eiffel Tower Operating Company .
As an official partner of this first edition, Armani Beauty will accompany the opening of Cinéma Paradiso Tour Eiffel on September 24th with a private party organized around the launch of its new men’s fragrance, thus sealing an unprecedented encounter between beauty, Parisian heritage and the magic of cinema.
The full program, guests and the opening of the lottery to try and obtain free tickets will be announced on September 8, 2026 on mk2-festivalparadiso.com.
mk2 will soon announce the Cinéclub Paradiso La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt: four free evenings combining concerts, DJ sets and cult films on the biggest screen in Europe, to celebrate summer on the banks of the Seine.
