Admit One, part of Showtime Group Solutions, are delighted to announce an agreement with KinoNor to provide an end to end cinema management and Point Of Sale solution. Covering Ticketing, Concessions, Digital Sales, Loyalty and Back Office management for 15 member sites across Norway, additional fully integrated real time operational Data Analytics and Marketing software will be provided by Showtime Analytics.
KinoNor is Norway’s fourth largest and only Environmental Lighthouse certified cinema chain, with 54 screens across 13 towns and cities. The contract is for the group’s three largest member cinemas Trondheim Kino, Aurora Kino and Edda Kino, accounting for a 12% market share, KinoNor sells 1.2 million tickets annually.
KinoNor is known for its commitment to delivering exceptional movie experiences through innovation and world-class service. As part of their extensive evaluation process they conducted a review of multiple POS providers, with the view to streamlining operations, enhancing the ticket purchasing process, and gaining valuable insights into customer preferences, ultimately enabling them to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.
They were looking for a flexible, scalable and configurable solution to replace their current ticketing and management platform, with extensive customisation and advanced reporting requirements as well as the ability to integrate with their other existing 3rd party systems.
After careful consideration, KinoNor selected Admit One as their trusted partner. With preparations for the roll out beginning in January of this year in a phased site approach, all deployment, integrations, testing and user training across their 15 sites was completed by June. A new site will be added when a new cinema is opened in September 2023.
