GDC Technology Limited (‘GDC’), a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, announced today that they will showcase eight new products at CineEurope 2023, the official convention of the International Union of Cinemas (UNIC), an international trade association representing cinema exhibitors and their national associations across 39 European territories. CineEurope will take place from June 19 to 22 at the Barcelona International Conventions Center (CCIB). GDC is located on Level P1, in meeting room MR131. In addition, GDC has partnered with DTS to demonstrate DTS Surround at the Cinesa Diagonal Mar in Screen 8 on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm local time. The cinema is located inside the Diagonal Mar Center across from CCIB.

GDC will showcase a complete product line of SR Series media servers, including SR-1000 IMB with the audio capability of rendering up to 32-channels of DTS:X for IAB immersive audio that supports SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream (IAB) standard. Additionally, two types of FAST media servers will be displayed including the SR-5400C IMB, which can play 4K 3D at 96 frames per second in 3D; and the SRC-7500 media player, designed for the Unilumin LED cinema screen and can also support 4K at 96 frames per second (fps) in 3D.

GDC will introduce seven new products, including:

1. AIB-3000 Audio Interface Box is designed for media blocks with built-in cinema audio processor or operates independently as a DTS Surround cinema audio processor with a software license

2. AE-6703 AES67/AES3 32×32-channel bidirectional converter bridges the Worlds of AES3 and AES67

3. Espedeo™ DAC Series digital-to-analog audio converter is available in five models 8/12/16/24 and 32-channel DAC.

4. PSD-4000-SSD portable storage is available in three RAID storage options 3TB, 4TB, and 6TB SSD.

5. DIVE™ Dynamic Lighting System is a programmable custom light show to highlight the auditorium configuration and match the preshow content

6. SATO Series high-performance cinema speakers

7. Two fader control devices (FC-1000 and FR-1000) designed for SR-1000 built-in cinema audio processor
