Record visitor numbers align with Flicks’ commercial growth in the Australian market
Film, cinema and streaming authority, Flicks, has just announced that it has reached a significant milestone of 1.1 million local unique users visiting its Australian website.
Since its launch in 2015, flicks.com.au, along with the company’s inaugural New Zealand website (flicks.co.nz) and the newer United Kingdom website (flicks.co.uk), has been helping make the decision about what to watch – and where to watch it – easier.
Flicks (a Vista Group company) provides cinema listings, streaming guides, reviews and premium editorial content that’s straight-talking and engaging.

Flicks’ announcement comes after the company’s recent team expansion, with Phillip Merillo joining Flicks as Head of Sales & Partnerships for Australia.
This new role is an integral addition to Flicks’ commercial team as they continue to build on their momentum with Australian audiences and, in turn, expand on their work with advertising partners.

Flicks’ news follows the recent launch of their app in March, which brings together their unique combination of listings, guides and editorial opinion into a premium, one-stop shop mobile experience.
