CinemaCon 2021 is just around the corner and Christie is excited to welcome the industry back for the 10th celebration of CinemaCon, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), on August 23-26, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. CinemaCon attracts thousands of industry professionals and provides an opportunity for show delegates in 2021 to gather for the first time in more than 18 months to discuss the challenges ahead and get a sneak peek at the new content coming to theatres.
As the industry continues to rebuild and re-open, Christie’s support of exhibitors during the pandemic extended beyond offering safe reopening guidelines for projector equipment, extending warranties and introducing rental programs. It also introduced a UV disinfection device specifically designed for theatres and new DCI-compliant RGB pure laser illuminated projectors, all with innovative tools such as pixel alignment, and Electronic Color Convergence. Christie’s CineLife+ electronic platform widens the range of its portfolio of projectors, offering brightness from sub-15,000 lumens for boutique theatres up to 55,000 lumens for large format screens.
Take a seat and experience the true-to-life images on the screen
Christie’s Vive Audio and wide range of RGB pure laser projectors are on display in the Milano 1 Ballroom and include the CP4440-RGB, CP2309-RGB, CP2315-RGB, and making their North American debut, the Christie CP2306-RGBe and CP4415-RGB. Next door, in Milano 5 Ballroom, you can pull up a seat and experience the rich color and high contrast of the Christie CP4430-RGB projector while experiencing Christie Mystique Cinema, a software tool and camera kit that can auto-calibrate image alignment for dual-projection setups, and more. As Christie has done for decades, it will provide projection services for all screenings held at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum, where studio movie highlights take place with Christie CP4230s lighting up screens.
An added layer of defense while you visit us at CinemaCon
Christie CounterAct commercial UV disinfection fixtures with patented Care222 technology use filtered far-UVC 222nm light to inactivate 99% of pathogens while people are present. We invite you to join us under the far-UVC light of Christie CounterAct in the Milano 1 Ballroom where units are installed—the safest space at CinemaCon!
