In an increasingly competitive market, audiovisual giants are competing to define which format delivers the best experience to audiences. The film industry is witnessing unprecedented demand for innovative presentation styles, and Expocine, Latin America’s largest convention for the cinema and audiovisual industry, is bringing this topic to the forefront. IMAX remains a hallmark of premium projection, renowned for its large-format screens and rigorous technical standards. Dolby continues to consolidate its dominance in immersive audio while strengthening its visual ecosystem through Dolby Vision. Meanwhile, ScreenX is expanding access to premium cinema by utilizing a three-screen setup to offer an immersive, panoramic view of each scene.

The panel discussion will feature Jason Swanson, VP of Sales for IMAX in the Americas; Luciano Taffetani, Senior Sales Manager & Partnerships (Cinema — Latin America) at Dolby; and Samuel Real, Senior Vice President of Local Content Distribution (Latam) at ScreenX. The session will be moderated by Ricardo Laporta, Commercial Director and co-founder of Neolux.
