AMC Theatres (NYSE:AMC), the largest theatrical exhibitor in the United States and the world, today announced it will offer popular collectibles, merchandise, food and beverage items and more when Universal Pictures’ new cinematic event, “Wicked,” arrives in theatres Nov. 20 via early access screenings. Tickets are on sale now for this much anticipated movie release.

AMC recently produced consecutive opening weekend sellouts of our collectible concession vehicles for “Inside Out 2,” “Deadpool & Wolverine” and Batman 85th — and sold more beer, wine, and cocktails during the Thursday-Sunday “Deadpool & Wolverine” weekend than in any other weekend in AMC company history. As a result, the company is gearing up for the highly anticipated theatrical release of “Wicked” —the untold story of the witches of Oz, based on the beloved Broadway musical phenomenon—with a wide array of exciting merchandise, food and beverage offerings to meet the growing guest demand that allows them to fully immerse themselves in the AMC moviegoing experience and connect with these movies — and have a lasting memento they can take with them.

AMC’s two distinct green and pink popcorn vessels are based on “Wicked’s” two main characters Elphaba and Glinda, with corresponding colors and unique silhouette designs formed by the everpopular song lyrics from the musical and movie. Each popcorn tin comes with a large popcorn and will sell for $17.99+tax. To accompany the popcorn vessels, guests can also get a 32-ounce Grippr Cup with two translucent toppers (toppers not exclusive to AMC), based on Elphaba and Glinda. The cup and topper can be purchased for $24.99+tax each, or $36.99+tax when bundled with the popcorn vessel.

Guests also can take home a wide array of film-themed merchandise, including velvety decorative plush items, Funko Pops and Mattel dolls (not exclusive to AMC) available for fans of all ages to purchase while supplies last.

Magnificent Mix Glittered Popcorn to dazzle and delight exclusively at AMC Theatres
Beginning Nov. 7, AMC will offer Magnificent Mix, a sweet & sparkling, candy-coated popcorn inspired by the two main characters from “Wicked,” with a mix of glittered pink and green popcorn at 480 theatres, while supplies last. This limited-time only variety come in two sizes: Gourmet Single ($9.99+tax), or Gourmet Duo ($11.99+tax), which is a bucket guests can mix with another flavor of popcorn or our traditional AMC Perfectly Popcorn.

AMC’s MacGuffins Bars will serve up a Popular Pink cocktail that delivers a sweet watermelon and coconut flavor. Or embrace the sour apple citrus flavor of Gravity Green. Both cocktails are bursting with flavor and are accented with glow cubes and light-up straws.

Guests clamoring for a thirst-quenching soft drink can enjoy two colorful, limited-edition Spritebased options, including a (green) Emerald Elixir and a pink Ozdust Punch. AMC will also offer a chilling ICEE- Enchanted Green Apple ICEE flavor from Nov. 20-Dec. 4.
