Maya Cinemas recently named Francisco Schlotterbeck as their new Chief Operating Officer. Francisco spent 16 years as CEO with Hoyts-AMC in Chile. After this, Francisco was instrumental in the successful launch and development of Silverspot Cinemas leading this new exhibitor in the US market as CEO. Francisco brings his deep cinema experience and entrepreneurial spirit to Maya Cinemas as it continues to accelerate its expansion efforts.

Maya has opened two new state-of-the-art multiplexes in the past 12 months. These locations in Delano, California and North Las Vegas, Nevada have found incredible success and are each welcome additions to their under-screened communities. Maya Cinemas has also broken ground in Dallas, Texas. This new cinema will open in spring of 2020. Maya Cinemas was chartered in 2001 with a mission to develop, build, own and operate modern, first-run, megaplex movie theaters in underserved, family oriented, Latino-dominant communities.
