GDC Technology Limited (‘GDC’), a leading global provider of digital cinema solutions, announced today that it will demonstrate the multiple award-winning Espedeo Supra-5000 RGB Plus laser phosphor cinema projector (“Supra-5000”) at this year’s CineEurope 2021, held on October 4 to 7 in Barcelona. Supra-5000 is the first DCI compliant projection system which is the lightest, smallest, quietest and 40,000-hour laser-powered. In addition, GDC will showcase new media servers including the SR-1000 media server featuring various built-in audio solutions including 7.1 and 15.1 cinema audio processors, and 24-channel DTS:X and immersive audio bitstream (IAB) players.

GDC will also showcase two media servers with future-proof, ultra-reliable SR Series media server technology giving a new lease of life to the legacy digital cinema projectors:

  • SR-1000 IMB with S1 Kit Plus for DLP Cinema Series 1 projectors
  • SR-1130 IMB for Sony SRX-R320 4K digital cinema projectors
