The Cinema Technology Community (CTC) has released an update on their recent activity, including a new Cinema Technology Magazine and the next Tech Talk. The July edition of CTC’s own Cinema Technology Magazine is now available, free for members to download. This special edition focuses on the industry fight back against Covid-19 and features articles about drive-in movie revivals, restart initiatives (from companies such as Movio, Omnex and MPS), a look at the vital work Harkness Screens has been undertaken in manufacturing PPE and a review of CTCs activities over the past few months.
On this week’s CTC Tech Talk, Helen Budge from the industry leading news outlet Celluloid Junkie looks at the crucial topic of Sustainability and some of the initiatives being undertaken to reduce the environmental footprints of cinema and how these are still applicable in a post COVID-19 world.
