Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate and Annie Mumolo will receive the “CinemaCon Female Stars of Year Award,” it was announced today by Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon. CinemaCon, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) will be held April 11-14, 2016 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The cast of STX Entertainment’s hilarious comedy “Bad Moms” will be presented with this special honor at the “CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards” ceremony taking place on the evening of Thursday, April 14, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, hosted by the Coca-Cola Company, the official presenting sponsor of CinemaCon.

“With some of the most memorable roles on the big and small screen between them Kunis, Bell Applegate and Mumolo are sure to deliver again when they team up for the upcoming release of ‘Bad Moms,’” noted Neuhauser. “We are thrilled to be able to honor a cast with such a history of entertaining audiences as this year’s ‘Female Stars of the Year.’”

This summer Kunis, Bell, Applegate and Mumolo can be seen starring together in STX Entertainment’s highly anticipated “Bad Moms” out on July 29, 2016. Amy Mitchell (Kunis) puts her family first, second, and third. But her man-child husband, high-maintenance kids and idiot boss are taking a toll. When the alpha moms (Applegate, Mumolo, and Jada Pinkett Smith) at her kids’ school push her too far, Amy finally snaps. Good Amy becomes Bad Amy really fast and she doesn’t go it alone. Teaming up with two other misfit moms (Kathryn Hahn and Bell), Amy gets a jolt of freedom that shakes up her life and might even make her a better mom.

Best known for her two roles on the hit Fox shows “That 70’s Show” and “Family Guy” and her role as ‘Lilly,’ in the critically acclaimed “Black Swan,” Golden Globe nominated Kunis has appeared on the big screen in such films as “Jupiter Ascending,” “Oz, The Great and Powerful,” “Ted,” “Friends With Benefits,” “Date Night,” “The Book of Eli,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Max Payne.” Recently she started her production company called Orchard Farm Productions with Susan Curtis, Cameron Curtis and Lisa Steerbakov.

Currently starring in the Showtime series “House of Lies,” Bell can next be seen in “The Boss” opposite Melissa McCarthy, recently completed filming “CHiPs” opposite husband Dax Shepard and will soon begin filming the NBC series “The Good Place” with Ted Danson. Her film credits include “Frozen,” “Veronica Mars,” “Hit & Run,”  “Burlesque,” and “Forgetting Sara Marshall.” Her television appearances include a recent guest-starring arc on “Parks & Recreation,” “Veronica Mars,” “Unsupervised,” “Deadwood,” “Heroes,” and “Party Down.”

Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony nominated Christina Applegate first gained widespread attention for her role on the long-running Fox series, “Married with Children.” Her additional television credits include; “Up All Night,” “Samantha Who?,” “Jesse,” and “Friends.”  In addition to “Bad Moms,” Applegate can also be seen this year in “Youth in Oregon,” and “Crash Pad.” Most recently Applegate could be seen in “Vacation,” and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Her additional film credits include; “Hall Pass,” “Going the Distance,” “The Rocker,” “Surviving Christmas,” “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” “The Sweetest Thing,” “Wonderland,” “View From the Top,” and “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.”

Annie Mumolo is the Academy Award-nominated screenwriter of the blockbuster feature “Bridesmaids.” Her latest screenplay “Joy” for Fox 2000, based on the life of Joy Mangano, starred Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper with David O. Russell directing. On the small screen Mumolo was recently a series regular on the critically-acclaimed NBC comedy “About A Boy,” and shot a role in Amazon’s “Transparent.” In addition to “Bad Moms,” she will be featured in the Melissa McCarthy-starrer “The Boss,” and Netflix’s “Lady Dynamite.”  She is currently writing, producing and set to star in an untitled comedy for TriStar, re-teaming with Kristen Wiig.
