Gower Street Predicts Return To A “Normal” Box Office By 2023

Gower Street Analytics has published its final prediction for the 2021 box office, acknowledging in the process that “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and other high-profile titles have yet to open.  The 2021 box office is set to rise by 75% over 2020 and 2022 is forecast to be up 58% over this year. A full return to pre-COVID is, however, not expected until 2023.
